The repair site needs to be flat and within reach of a forklift. The weight of a light excavator is generally 3-4 tons. Except for the chassis, the forklift can completely handle it. Do not use jacks for loading and unloading, it will be very dangerous.

With adequate safeguards, pull the excavator to the site, remembering to raise its arms first, then fix it with the proper tools. Disassemble the cab seat and operating base, release the rotary motor, and then remove the entire excavator cab.

You will now see the slewing ring, check it and see if the gear teeth are damaged. First remove the screws of the slewing bearing, remove the damaged bearing, and then use gasoline to remove the grease and burrs on the bearing bracket. Replace with a new slewing bearing.

When install the new slewing bearings, remember to replace all the screws, and screw all the bolts in diagonally opposite sequence. Do not tighten bolts randomly. Finally reinstall the parts which you’ve moved from the chassis. Now you have a new excavator!
